Hammacher Schlemmer awards Rosewood Commercial a design/build renovation in NYC

Hammacher Schlemmer, a global leader in the specialty products market, awarded Rosewood Commercial’s design and build team a complete interior renovation of their museum store on 57th Street in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

The project includes a total re-configuration of 4 floors (cellar, floor 1, mezzanine and floor 2). Plans were completed and permitted in the 4th quarter of 2012. All construction build-out services will be completed by 2nd quarter 2013.

Creating a new retail vision for Hammacher Schlemmer, the Rosewood team retained the services of Knauer, Inc. to complete the design element of the project. The location will include a new store identity with museum quality history, dark millwork accented with white stone and exorbitant millwork finishes throughout. Casework lines all walls showcasing the unique Hammacher Schlemmer product lines. As Hammacher Schlemmer is known for featuring only the best in gifts, gadgets, electronics and more, the design of the new store will also be the best…perfectly complimenting the retailer’s well-known reputation.

Rosewood completed all plans and permitting and is currently completing all interior construction services, from demolition to finished store ready for a magnificent grand opening.
